Accenture is a decent company name tbh, doesnt matter what ur job scope is, most fresh grads only need 1 or 2 YOE to job hop. Their insurance package is also great, covering the whole fam, I doubt big 4 have it since they’re so stingy with the pay.
personally got a few tech friends in accenture, yeah pay sucks and WLB is **** but they left after 1-2 years for 20-30% higher pay with better WLB
its worth it imo. better than joining some trash company and getting 0 interviews because recruiters dunno wtf company u work for. If you settle for a company with lower pay, your next job’s pay won’t be much higher cos it’s tough for you to negotiate

Id argue prestige is so relative depending on your vertical/sector. But your paycheck usually is a good indicator of your value, a manager in pwc at 7-8k is really not something I find attractive

Waittt isn’t this under Strategy&? Just did a search and the jd mentions Strategy& Deals Strategy. Cos if it’s strategy&, the salary is 7k (per Glassdoor). But if it’s PwC, it’s 4.5k right?

Previously came across a Microsoft consulting services opening…. So is it good since Microsoft is a good company right but this is consultant (per the jd - Consumer Engineer or Consultant).

I feel whichever company you go into as a fresh grad, you got to enjoy what you do and also where you wanna exit to in future. Tech consulting may not be super relevant to MBB for their mc or strategy, but it’s not impossible too as there’s cases of such. But if tech consulting experience, you have another pool of ideal companies such as Google, Amazon/AWS, Microsoft etc that are good too
So just do the best in whichever role you go into.

Is Roland Berger Consulting Analyst Program (6 months) good and do you get converted for sure or it’s similar to grad programs where no confirmation on conversion into a permanent role?

Read the post properly lah lol. If PwC manager only earns 7k, how much do you think juniors there earn? Lolll this just shows you can even analyse.
Op is saying that acn is paying more than big 4 so if got both offer just base on salary wise, it’s an obvious ans….
