Acn is tier 2. RB is paying 4.5k only with no allowance which is less than acn with allowance. Delta can’t even compare pls… OW, ATK, LEK is good

Says who? You?
You must be a ACN recent hire. Accenture is mass hiring pretty much everyone now so I’m not surprised that you are clueless (seriously, literally any tom d*ck and harry).
Anyone in OW/ATK/LEK/RB/Delta stands a better chance at moving to MBB than ACN - and they earn more too with better projects to boot. Exception being RB since they have a smaller presence in SG. Nevertheless, RB still pays more for consultant level and above.

You sound like you got rejected from acn lol. They hire everyone? Pls go and have a look at acn forum see how many ppl didn’t even hear back.
Acn is tier 2 a simple search and you see many sources categorising it under tier 2. And I did not say that OW, ATK, LEK are bad.
Pls have a look at Glassdoor RB pays its consulting analyst 4.5k lol…. ACN pays 4.5k with 400 allowance so both are pretty much the same.

Agree that acn pays better than rb, but that’s more because rb isn’t great here
Acn is top tier in it consulting, it’s not really an apple to apple comparison with strategy firms. Also I wouldn’t use rb as an example of tier 2, the typical tier 2 (like Oliver wyman) pays more than mbb to “buy” the same talent pool.

Agree that acn pays better than rb, and that’s more because the rb is weak here
Acn is tier 1 in IT consulting, comparing it to strategy firms is not an apple to apple comparison. Strategy and it consulting have different scope, fees, margins and opportunities
A true tier 2 strategy firm pays more than mbb (eg. Oliver wyman paying 7.5k) because they want the same talent pool that mbb hires from

I actually interned at ACN and rejected their return offer. But hey, whatever suits your fancy I guess. Just don’t blame anyone when people look at you all weird when you classify ACN as a tier 2 consulting company lol.
Fyi, the majority of the work that ACN does not even constitute strat & consulting analyst =/= consultant. Not surprised though, seeing how you hold the notion that ACN = tier 2. Best of luck kiddo LOL

Actually there’s management consulting in acn too. I guess cos if you look at strategy firms then the tier will be rather different. But if just merely looking at consulting in general in terms of the tier then acn and the rest falls in tier 2 and tier 3 would be the big 4 usually.
Indeed OW and ATK etc do pay more than the MBBs

For acn if you got a return offer it’s merely entering to the same project. If not being a past intern or not, all have to go through the typical application process. Honestly like what I have mentioned earlier, I’m not the one classifying acn as a tier 2 firm. But if you do simple google the tiers you see for yourself many sources even the top few that appeared park acn under tier 2.

If it’s Accenture strategy, yes
Accenture management consulting - the one branded now as strategy and consulting is not a mixed bag of mostly implementation work
When ppl use the term management consulting it’s usually to refer to strategy topics where u work on issues for the c suite; nothing against acn but the work there is more execution focused where your stakeholder is the head of a BU reporting to one of the c suite instead
