Oh just went to have a look at the LinkedIn 😂
She’s from SIM de, rmit which is the least competitive partner Uni. So to those who say private uni cmi, I guess it boils down to individual candidates and their own skill sets that set them apart.

Degree cert only can get you as far as your first job, thereafter all depends on your job performance liao.
Actually for every application, once you get past the resume screening stage, no one cares which Uni you’re from.

Is management consulting in Accenture better than strategy in banks? Or even strategy in Accenture better than that in banks?

Tbh even if you stay at ACN, you'd still get a comfortable wage past manager grade. The frequent travel requirements and harsh working hours of MBB is not for everyone, esp those with families unless they decide to be career consultants.

Thé nature of work in strategy firms ( mbb or tier 2 like Oliver wyman) have significantly more travel because:
1) client engagements are shorter, strategy studies usually last 12 weeks
2) clients tend to come from various southeast Asian countries
3) acn tends to be heavily focused on implementation work (tech, changement mgmt etc) that can run for 12 months if not years
4) acn serves many govt related clients in sg, so less need for travel

This is wise, not everyone needs to go into mbb, nor aspire to do strategy just because it sounds more prestigious
There are many fulfilling and well paying jobs
It’s like joining local bank corporate banking and thinking non stop about going to Goldman front office

Accenture to MBB is almost impossible. Accenture is tier 3 (they are more known for tech consulting and not rly mgmt/strat consulting).
Although they pay slightly more than B4, they aren’t on same tier as your OW/ATK/RB (in pay/prestige/projects).

There’s past Accenture consultants who jumped to MBB. And btw ACN is tier 2 not tier 3 although the pay is significantly lesser than OW/ATK. RB is paying 4.5k…..
