It was legitimately a terrible challenge. Like sure yeah we don't expect to be spoonfed a pass but it was still a rude shock especially vis-a-vis the previous papers we've done.

Default part b

can i ask ah if you fail one or two subjects at Part B and have to retake, what is the optics on this in practice? it is a big factor pointing toward no retention or salary progression? assuming that my work performance is otherwise good

Ya you fail 1 paper your legal career gone case alr. Prepare to find job outside the legal industry because there is no room for failure here.

This is not true. At Fervent, we have had partners who failed one paper and even had to do viver, but they proved themselves worthy in the inferno of litigation and their Fervent commitment to the cause.

At Fervent, you have the opportunity to be the best you can be. The firm is in good hands of all the litigation and corporate partners that are there.

Failure is temporary. Ability is permanent.
