Yes with the adjustments earlier this year, think 1PQE for mid-big firms are around the 7k mark. Shook Lin, WKW, TSMP, TKQP etc.. B4 is only a few hundred more to my knowledge. Can anyone corroborate?

It really baffles me how bad the churn is for certain "big 5" firms. Know someone whose replacement quit less than two months into the job.
That model might have been sustainable pre-covid but given the shortage of quality junior assocs now, you'd think they'd have wisened up and started treating people better.

Sadly things are not going to change for real until the ready supply of willing associates dries up. Say what you will, the "big 5" branding still has some prestige amongst the target audience of young and impressionable law students/trainees/associates.
