The old/present situation is that practice trainees would only be able to train at and upon qualification would be employed by Ascendant Legal, not NRF. For overseas students, they would do their RLT at NRF, and then their practice TC at Ascendant and be qualified there.

Now, with the new scheme, trainees upon qualification can be retained at either NRF or Ascendant, presumably due to being dual-qualified in England & Wales.

So, it's likely the situation might be different now.

SA still about 20k, the increments are pretty good. NQ is indeed lower than baker.

B4 salaried partner earns about 300k per year including decent bonus. An associate in a US firm of the same seniority easily earns 1.4x that amount before bonus, and 2x that after bonus.
