If MOM & LawSoc are that efficient in their work, the law fraternity will not be in such a deplorable state now. Agree?

Yeah this is why big firms tend to have better cultures than smaller firms - big firms have other partners to keep the errant partner in check, and have an interest in preventing what may end up being a reputational blow to the firm if things escalate further. Small firms on the other hand, you usually have a sole proprietor partner in which case good luck trying to change him, or a small bunch of partners who would band together and protect their own kind. Don't think the public would also care much if some kind of unknown Tan Ah Kow LLP is found to have an toxic work environment, compared to say a Big 4, unless the abuse is as egregious as what Samuel Seow did.
If in a small firm, just leave.

What are the latest Big 4 junior to senior associate salary bands now?
Wondering whether to stay in my FLA firm after call, or try to join a Big 4.

The size of the firm doesn't matter in the binary question of whether there is or is no toxicity. Either there is, or there isn't.

Nay not interested. Will they do anything to address the toxic culture in practice? No
Will they champion worklife balance? No
Will they call out abusive partners and firms? No
Will they do something to slow down the exodus of lawyers? No (King of Singapore just says but never does anything. kah ki gong, kah ki song)
Will they increase pay of NQ so that we are on part with the UK, US firms? No
What benefits do you get from their appointment? Nein

Yea now starting pay lose slightly to CS. But if can stay long, law has a higher ceiling to reach. Tech roles pay stagnate usually after a few years.
