If recent news is anything to go by we're heading frm glut to shortage and it should hopefully stay that way so that there'll be upward pressure on NQ and junior associate salaries.
It should be obvious to anyone who understands the UK law School landscape why delisted schools are delisted. In fact, the question is why not sooner. Standards are shocking to say the least. Academic barriers to entry are very low but for some inexplicable reason, more firsts than 2:2s in many of them.

Academics =/= practice.
There are also 2:1s and 2:2s from delisted, now law firm partners. There is NUS 2:2 working in MC. There are also UK Law firm partners who study some other subjects, not even law.
Oxbridge FCH doesn't mean you are set for ptnership either.
Practice will be the true test.

s://legalcheek.com/2022/01/150k-junior-lawyer-salaries-are-out-of-control-top-general-counsel-warns/

Thoughts on this? Are junior assoc salaries out of control?

personally I think my 7.5k 1pqe B4 salary is too high. My lawyer gf and I want to qualify for BTO. Think I'll petition the partners to reduce junior assoc salaries kekekekeke
