Realistically, they will vet your CV and ask you for an interview within 1-1.5mths latest, if you don't get an interview callback by then, it means you did not make it to the interview stage.
If you've interviewed already, and you don't get an offer within 1 week (actually within a few days), you have failed. Acceptances are notoriously fast.
You're probably looking at a lead time of 1-2mths depending on the dept.
NOTE: The only exception is WongP, they always try to do the interview in like 1 week from your application. If you don't get an interview from WongP within 2 weeks, you likely failed.

Jumped from a mid size to a Big 4 (not WongP) - can confirm that they will take 1 - 1.5 months for an interview, but I got my offer within 2 weeks instead of 1 week.

Really meh, seems abit low just based on the general progression of salaries (approx >1k+ per year)?
For e.g. wasn't A&G NQ 5.6, 1PQE 6.5, 2PQE 7.8 (which is in line with the general big4 numbers? How can 4PQE still only be 9.5? Shouldn't 9.5 be closer to 3PQE pay?

No no, I understood perfectly that the poster (or are you the OP) said "assuming it is not A&G", that 9.5k for 4 PQE seems standard, but isn't that for A&G's current increased pay?
I referred to A&G's previous payscale (i.e. the general big4 payscale currently sans A&G's updated payscale). I believe that most big4 have payscales similar to A&G's previous payscale, which was 5.6k NQ, 6.5k 1 PQE, 7.8k 2 PQE. For example, WongP's NQ pay is 6k.
Therefore, I really can't believe that 9.5 4 PQE is "standard" as you seem to be implying. What's going on between 2-3 PQE and 3-4 PQE for the pay to only rise so little (compared to the NQ-1PQE and 1PQE-2PQE jump)?
Additionally, 3-4PQE is the time you generally get bumped to SA, which should imply a bigger salary bump than the previous year.
