Pay wise - I don’t know what the rates now are. But it was around 5k many years ago when I joined. Legal service ordinarily pays about 16-18 months in a year, so take that into account.
Increments are good. There are substantial increases with promotions.
Career progression depends, frankly, on attitude and aptitude. Legal service generally far more meritocratic than private practice (where things like connections may make a difference).
Exit options - no clue. Haven’t felt the need to leave, so haven’t checked. Generally, resignation rate is v Low. But the people who’ve left have found pretty solid jobs. |

I am a female with 2 years law firm + 4 years in house experience in a global mnc. Im now considering joining a government role. Hope you can help me with some questions i have.
1. Do government legal roles generally pay the same? (Agc vs ministry vs stat board)
2. What would be the salary range if i join civil service now at this point in my career?

Anyone heard about BR Law? What's the pay like? Is it true that they are the worst firm in sg? Is the pay worth it anot? I heard the bosses want to call it a day and **** off alr

hello my internet frends...blessings to all...want to find out,, timothy my lawyer grand son told me his salary now is 3000 singapore dollars,, is this true? uncle drive taxi earn 3500 singapore dollars!!even more than lawyer?

my colleagues and i always joke about how i cannot afford my own legal services. i tio taiji must go and see chinatown firm lol
