I think these are outdated - Dentons doesn't pay better than R&T, apparently R&T started paying better

However, the poster is correct in saying that the increment lags, and as a result the pay differential starts to increase as you get more senior. I think SLB’s pay increment is $800-$1200 (per month basis) for every +1 PQE.

I would put Dentons at the same level as SLB/TSMP/other reputable mid-size rather than with B4.
Yup thanks for insight, I'm not sure about SLB pay so was hitting in the dark. Was basing it off Rodyk etc.

Mm some doubt about accuracy, not personal. Your NQ salaries sound about right save for DNN and Rodyk from what I heard. Drew isn't 58, its more like 55 to 56. A&G sounds right. Also for WP I heard it's only this year

SLB 54 NQ (outdated info? Not sure). 5.4 NQ/1Q i think. Rodyk 4.8 to 5 that range. Basically for the mids it is 4 to 5 NQ.

Rodyk used to pay comparable/more than B4. But times are hard.

I think there are two ways firms can tide through COVID (yes, just to point out). One is a pay cut, the other is to retrench or not retain. The worst hit firms do both

Speaking of which, sadly, regardless of our class of honours and school, law is a client focused industry (sorry to point out the obvious/flog a dead horse but just so we're on the same page re this year). If your clients are not doing well you are also not doing well. It is a service industry. Be thankful you're employed, and if you're not hang in there we're nearing 2021. Let's be resilient and get through this year. Hopefully the Putinerminator Russian vaccine works

Stay safe everyone

ordinary mid: tkqp, qwh, harry elias
small: chinatown firms, most of the specialist crim/fam firms, hoh law corp (if you're not looking purely at number of lawyers but prestige)
Lol wmh and ascendant are so not top-mid. Top mid should be like TKQP, O&B. Heard wmh only have like 4 actual lawyers, the rest are consultants not in the office at all

Outdated for RT. They have a restructured paygrade last year. Currently at 5.8, 6.6, 7.6 and 8.8 to 9.3

BMWL looks way inflated for a mid size firm
