Outside of rankings Harvard Law has always been considered n.o. 1 by those in the US industry. Just look at their number of supreme court clerkships.

Harvard has the most clerkships because they have the largest cohort by far, at around 500. Yale is widely considered to be the most prestigious law school in the US. Historically, they have had the lowest acceptance rates and highest percentage of graduates heading into academia. Also low class sizes means its spending per student is through the roof. Many Harvard professors at Harvard law school are Yale alumni.

It is only outside the states that people have the misconception of Harvard > Yale law, because Harvard is the more internationally renown university. Most applicants would turn down Harvard/Stanford for Yale.

Only simmons pays higher than big4 pay. The rest are approximately (or slightly below) big 4.

Literally just 6 hours ago I asked my junior assoc to prepare me a simple summary of a company's balance sheet for a client meeting... told me he doesn't even know what EBITDA is. Asked the other junior assoc from KCL to do it, got it done in 45 minutes. Then I come here and read this forum and read the trash going on here...

The stupidity and arrogance must be so thick in NUS that you guys don't even know the basics of financial accounting, but still choose to join corporate law and flame foreign grads all day in this forum instead of learning it on your own time eh? You know why everyone here seems to be agreeing with your trash comments? Because the KCL grads are busy working now, making double your starting salaries, and don't have the time to be here measuring dicks

Pls la, I personally know of some degree millers who try to wayang and work damn long hours to prove themselves because they think partners will like them for that. They are not that intelligent or sharp as many of us. It’s this kind of attitude that makes them an eyesore.
