I would imagine that the 'C' firm is in the same position as yours.

I love talking to clients from the beginning and I know law is going to shut me out for at least a few years. Now I get to manage my own portfolio and the salary is awesome. When I visit this page and look at all you struggling, it just reaffirmed that my decision to quit was right from the very beginning.

I'd imagine most small-med size firms would be in the same position.

Oof lmao.
Am the guy who responded to him above. I don't have anything against anyone who sells insurance, what pisses me off about the guy is the way he talked about the people in this forum like he's better than them for having quit law

But clearly you came here not out of a desire to share (assuming you're even being honest about your salary and story), but to **** over the lawyers / law students in this forum.
Personally, at 2 PQE I was earning more than you are right now. The hours are long, but it's intellectually satisfying and I work with very creative and intelligent people. For all the to-be lawyers reading this, law work can be very satisfying -> do your homework and find the firm/team which will make work rewarding for you.

I am not trying to discourage lawyers or law grads here. Perhaps I should have been more clear. I am trying to say that there are other options out there (and personally I would think financial consultancy is a good option here, tried and tested before). Since the market is looking gloomy, perhaps it is a good time to explore other opportunities. For myself, I am glad to have made the decision to step out of law to save the hassle and now I have not regretted a single bit.
