Default Court robes

Hi anyone knows where to get Court robes? Any website that I can go to? I tried googling but haven't come across any.

Why use accountants? Go forth and take a look at the top performing local grads in your own law profession. For corporate law, look at those who made it to MC/WS. I guarantee you their resumes are studded. If they are not first class, they are a strong 2:1 with a deans list or a prize here and there. For litigation, look at the top local commercial liti depts. First classes all around.

I understand your impetus to want to make that point, but facts are facts. Work hard all you want, but try to start working hard in school, not after.

I can name you a famous lawyer without a 2.1 or FCH.
Did you know there's a famous lawyer in Malaysia with a third class?

Anyway, LOL if you think your job is just 'recommending arguments'.

You used doctors as an example. Name me one famous doctor / specialist with a first. No? You're retarded.

It is not just about working hard in school. Working hard after is EVERYTHING. Why? You're a fking practitioner not an academic.

So to say that grades are "absolutely trash" to decide someone's aptitude at law is stupid.

What most people seem to be salty about (their opinion, not mine) is that a NUS or SMU 2:1 is far harder to obtain than a first class at those delisted schools, but somehow they are put on the same level by employers. IF that were true, I kinda get where they're coming from. It sucks to work harder for one year longer just to lose out because your school is more rigorous.

But to those people saying their 2:2s from NUS/SMU are better than 2:1s or even FCH from the delisted unis, I'm gonna be straight with you: My honest opinion is that people who gets 2:2s from the local schools are either complete morons, completely unsuited for the law, or did not try at ALL throughout their time in law school. In NUS, it was so absurdly easy to get Bs even without going for a single seminar.

bro dont so harsh leh

i barely got out of NUS with a 2:2

I can name you tons of them. You seem to be completely unaware of how it works for doctors in the local field -> getting a residency after completing your housemanship locally is basically the dream of all doctors. You can think about it as the equivalent as going international for corp lawyers or making it to the best liti teams. The more selective residencies like surgery or ortho take only a few a year, and many junior doctors spend many many years trying and failing. One of the main factors to being chosen is their grades back when they are doing their MBBS. And btw, because you clearly have no idea what you're talking about, yes doctors have deans list too. They have class of honors too. And yes it matters TONS when it comes to their careers and how they rise.

I won't bother replying anymore because you're just an angry kid with a 2:2 trying hard to convince yourself that it doesn't affect the future, and that does make me a little sad.

To the students here, I'll repeat what I said above and this is the best advice you're gonna get: Don't wait till after graduation to start working hard. You will regret it.

You understand my impetus? You understand absolutely jack **** about me. Moving on, you have not named me a famous first class doctor given your 'profession' not 'liberal arts' point.

I don't have a 2.2, and you're a moron for assuming so. I'm also in one of the 'elite' departments you mentioned (yeah look around).

Sure Refer back to the LLM discussion previously in case you were thinking about using that to salvage your 2:2

Summary:

You - FCH is important. It is a profession like doctors. Our job is to recommend arguments

Me - Name me a famous FCH doctor

You - Doctors have dean's list too

Me - Name me a famous FCH doctor

You - I understand you have a 2.2 / angry

Me - Nope, no 2.2 in sight. Anyway, I wouldn't trust you to recommend any arguments to me given you can't even justify your initial point on how grades make a practitioner. Perhaps if a judge asks you to justify your argument, maybe you should turn to him and say 'I understand your impetus'
