Partners and law firms owners - please give me your honest opinion. What do you think of SUSS law grads. How do they fare compared to local unis, foreign unis and unis that has been struck off?

finally a fellow The Good Wife fan! Yup I agree that the early The Good Fight episodes are not as captivating but the newer ones are really good and current - they discuss abt tech/Donald Trump/privacy but very US-centric if you keep up with US news too

Most people group lawyers into one category but from my experience, they are a very diverse bunch with varying capabilities. There are those whose English is slightly better than the average Singaporeans so they do law.

But to really excel, one needs more than that. Law needs strong analytic skills. Those that are really bright possess that. They are not only just good in the law, they are good in other disciplines. Law studies just a platform for them to train their mind.

A lot of entrepreneurs and people in high finance or tech have law degrees.

Cannot believe that I find a fellow TGW fan in a salaries forum. I am not interested and do not keep up with US news, maybe that is why I find TGF a little too political for me and prefer TGW. But one has to admit that both shows are good and daring and fresh.

Especially the last episode of the latest season of TGF - I do not think any shows will be so daring to include a real life figure and incident in the storyline plot.
