Doctors vs. Lawyers
Recently i have been thinking what would I do if I could choose my career all over again. Is it better being a doctor/dentist vs. a lawyer.
As a realist, I think earning decently good money is important for some extent of happiness in life. And I think both doctors and lawyers fulfill this criteria. But from the doctor/dentist friends I have around me, it feels like their jobs tend to be less cut throat and generally less stressful. Especially those that choose to go the GP / dentist at a clinic route (without starting their own business)
I wonder if I started all over again OR for my kids in future, I would push them more towards the medical field than corporate or law.
Thoughts?

Farmers farms. Scholars score.
In Sg your fate is more or less determined at A levels.

Government rewards people for their past achievements rather than their current contributions.
They do this indirectly by putting scholars on a fast track with unfairly good opportunities. Farmers do not normally get such opportunities. That also limits competition for scholars to only the pool of fellow scholars.

Yes. The top students are always headhunted. They get paid good money. If they are eloquent and can bring in clients and build a good reputation, can climb really high.
