To provide an analogy, attached guys are usually more attractive to other girls than single guys because of the perception that they've already been "filtered" out from the creepy weirdos who still remain single. Same goes with law grads jumping ship to other firms
Realistically speaking, even if you want to move in house, you probably still need the 1yr training experience. So this is just making life difficult for us.

Instead of crappy work x6mths, now it is full 12mths

That’s why overseas uni, no standard.
It’s about who can get the best notes.
Who has the most friends.
Who is most popular etc

I am wondering if anyone has any view about the suss jd program?

it costs $160K plus, and it seems most people go to community law. So how long do I need to take to earn back my $160k being a criminal / family lawyer? Or should I go to do commercial law to earn back $160k within a year or so?

Is law a lucrative career?

Lastly, what about the views of smu jd and nus graduate law program? is nus the best?

Doing law is about helping people, fighting for justice and fairness - and not about making money.

If you want to "earn back $160K within a year or so", you should go into hedge funds

Hi, people are always discussing about the pay of the big4. But can anyone also shed some light on the working hours (generally) of the big4 or big6. What time do you usually leave the office? Thanks! I think this would also help the juniors or prospective law students who (I think) is asking the wrong questions here.
