The rankings are done in terms of discrete client industries or areas of legal practice, e.g. aviation finance, shipping, project finance, competition law, construction litigation, capital markets etc etc.
For that, you need to do your own homework and look @ industry publications like Chambers & Partners, Legal500, IFLR, AsiaLaw profiles, or Asian Legal Business.
This isn't like secondary school or JC anymore where you can rank which are the top schools and which aren't, or, as people on this forum seem to have some childish obsession with, law school rankings.

Those people on this forum are not childish. Go ask international (white shoe, magic circle) and see whether they favor pedigree and people from top universities (Oxbridge), FCH, top in Bar, etc.

What’s an MC equity partner doing on the forum? Hahaha. Shouldn’t you be out in Sentosa enjoying the Sunday afternoon or playing golf in country club?

Hello Everyone,
I am a Senior Associate in one of the big 3 local firms in KL, Malaysia. I have 4.5 years PQE
Can anyone please tell me what the big 4 in Singapore pays for a person with 5 years PQE and 4 years PQE?
Also what is the standard uplift in pay for a lawyer to go in-house for a MNC? In malaysia the standard is norm is between 20-30% on monthly pay.
Appreciate feedback.
Thanks!

Damn unfair. Girls no need serve NS. By 30 can be partner.
Guys 27 practice. 6 years minimum to be partner. 33 years old.

Pay increment to go in-house? In Singapore, people take paycuts to go in-house because a lot of lawyers are dying to leave Big 4 after a few years of being worked to death. Malaysia must be the land of unicorns.
