If money is such an issue, why not just stay in practice?

LOL. This, more like it.

To be honest, I think you need to adjust expectations if you wish to go in-house. There are firms that will pay a lot of money but more often than not you won't be looking at 10-15k/mth salaries at pqe3. More like 8K+.

The places that pay a lot of money are usually FIs, VCs or Tech. So try these places first. Apple has been looking for a commercial transaction counsel for ages.

Do you all seriously think 8.5K p.m. + 13 month + discretionary performance bonus is low for an in house role for someone with 3PQE??

If it is low, then what would be a decent pay package to you? Personally, i think it's great!

Yep, i accepted 8.3 in the end. I thought it was a great deal all things considered.

But there are some people who work for int. + big4 who already earn more than 8k at pqe3-5, so this is a pay cut for them.
