how does the bonus in a front-loaded pay package compare to one without front loading? how many months' bonus can each expect?

A 2pqe to 4pqe can make 15k to 18k in an offshore 'MC' firm as an assoc. A fresh junior partner (6 to 8pqe) makes around 15k in a B4.

No lah. What happens after 4pqe differs from individual to individual. The first 3 years pay are more or less stanardized.

NQ at an MC firm (equivalent to 2PQE on sg scale) can make 13-15k, with a 1.5-2k pm yearly increment. So at 7PQE on sg scale an MC associate should be making around 20-24k before bonus. I dont know about the figures for junior partners but I doubt even the fresh ones are making so little - the 15k figure presumes that there is no pay bump from assoc to SA, and from SA to JP.

Personally I know of a few batchmates who made partner after 3-4 PQE in small firms and they are making >15k at that level too

Yep. The MC figures the previous poster gave are accurate but the B4 junior partner salary is definitely wrong.
Let's be real - there are no B4 partners on this forum. So people who have been giving figures have been pretty much just been guesstimating, but 15k is a terribly inaccurate estimate given what we know of annual increments and SA pay at B4.
I am confident that a B4 partners outearns the MC assoc at the same PQE. Before partnership, the MC assoc will definitely make significantly more, especially at the early years.
