Fair enough, but frankly you're only penalised with that firm. Realistically and practically.

I highly doubt anyone else cares.

SLB no.
WKW no.

Both don't offer B4 salary. Or if they did I highly doubt good advancement (close to 1k increment per year)

The Big firms are still B4. Rodyk is literally big if you count by headcount only.

Both SLB and WKW are reputed mid sized

Basically anyone from 30-100(?)

Just got a Big 4 offer. For mine it's sign in 2022, maybe due to COVID.

To clarify what this poster has said - SLB does offer B4 salary at an NQ-1PQE level. In fact, from what I know, it is higher than even some B4 at that level. I have friends who are at SLB and various B4.

However, the poster is correct in saying that the increment lags, and as a result the pay differential starts to increase as you get more senior. I think SLB’s pay increment is $800-$1200 (per month basis) for every +1 PQE.

I would put Dentons at the same level as SLB/TSMP/other reputable mid-size rather than with B4.
