U want renown, riches or fame as a 'change maker'? Being a lawyer is not the path to it. Nobody is putting a gun to your head to walk this path. If this is something that you haven't figured out so long, then TBH you're a bit of a slow learner.

I consider myself smart enough to know that my clients and bosses pay me to get s hit done, not harbour delusions about my creativity or intelligence.

What kind of firm are u in where RLT can takeover SA files. Hes not even called. Isnt your boss breaching PCR.
