While I agree that we should be sensitive and kind towards those involved, I wish to add on that male apathy has been encouraged by years of structural oppression against women whilst they have been silenced in fear of reputation or losing their jobs.

sexual misconduct is never acceptable and effective policies need to be implemented that address predatory sexual misbehaviour and hold perpetrators fully to account

rly dont understand why ppl complain. dont like it then leave la. if u think the pay 2gud2quit then stfu and keep taking the money

I mean surely the fact that the suit IR took out against CY was founded on harassment and not on defamation must speak volumes of the facts.

Iím the said OP - Iím an SA who wants to transfer laterally but I was wondering myself whether partners want us to be the right fit OR someone who is merely obedient and listens to their biddings all the time.

I have worked in several firms and have met partners who emphasise about being the right fit and having the right objectives during the interview but in practice they just want us to listen to them without voicing out anything at all.

The objective is for you to listen to them without voicing out anything at all. If you can meet that objective, you may well be a right fit for them.

What is the issue here? That you disagree with what the right fit is supposed to be?
