There is another news today that a New Zealand minister has been fired by the PM for just having extramarital relationships with various employees. Private text messages between him and the women have been uncovered for investigations.

I知 a male who does family law but also feel the fact that one痴 past and doings can be so easily discovered by anyone is simply dystopian. Anyone can easily hurt or bring you down because your past cannot exactly be hidden anymore. These ppl are named and shamed forever that some of them rather end their lives. The emotional trauma alone (and I知 not even talking about practical consequences like going to jail or getting sacked) is too much of a price to pay for.

I am not very concerned about the saga at all but CY at his second latest insta post (at 34mins) claims that a 4/5 PQE SA at TSMP earns about 12k. Could anyone confirm this? He also mentioned that a first year associate there earns 7.5k.

May I ask the inhouse counsels here - how do you conduct legal research without the benefit of the libraries you find in most law firms?

Is it a matter of relying on Google and giving high-level advice on legal issues?
