Heard that WP cut interns' pay from 400 a month previously to 100 for 3 weeks, whereas all other B4 had no change. If they're even squeezing a few hundred bucks from interns you can guess how bad things must be.

Not bad yet. Wait till they ask interns to pay them for the privilege of interning with a big4 firm.

The reason for the cut in pay is because all the internships were virtual. The interns literally don't even leave their houses for work. And let's be real: Local law interns are generally just a pain in the ass and do 0 work of value. If they're not even in the office to help with more menial tasks, why should they be paid at all?
Also, if you wanna compare to other firms: The other B4 firms cancelled all their internships. WP was the only one who still tried to give them work experience while still paying them. You really think that makes them the worst of the lot?

Just a correction notice here: all other big 4 firms proceeded with virtual internships other than one that postponed theirs. Not true that all other big 4 firms cancelled their internships. But fair first point.

I think he did mention that the pay cut is 30% overall because it includes a 10% cut from basic salary and no bonus (which adds up to approx 20%).
