Not sure where you're getting your info but I don't think the front-loading scheme applies to all big 4s.

Furthermore, at least for my big 4 the frontload is not the entire bonus. Another annual bonus is paid on top of that.

How many months' annual bonus does B4 usually pay? (On top of frontloading)

Hi, can anyone share what its like transitioning out of the Crime Division at AGC (lets say within a period of <5 years)? In terms of job prospects/ willingness of big firms to hire ex-DPPs and whether or not your pay will be matched according to ur PQE. Thank u!

Life as a trainee
I am exhibiting the consequences of depression + anxiety WHILE otj. It’s really tiring and I can’t focus/produce quality work. Don’t want to be this way. Can anyone share how to overcome it.

Does anyone know where to get court robes?
I don't wish to borrow.
Thanks.

If you intend to pivot out into private practice outside of criminal litigation (I assume so given that you mentioned big firms), it's unlikely that your pay will scale accordingly. PQE is ultimately about relevant experience, isn't it?

Pre-covid this was another 0-3 months of your frontloaded monthly salary.

I work for a small firm. We consistently give out between 3 - 5 months bonus once the accounts are in for the year. The only time this inst the case is if the firm doesn't meet a specific set target. It looks like this year will be one of those years - but this is one of those cases where you'll be rewarded for loyalty.

Ya high variance. Some of my friends negotiated for variable component pegged to billings. Very good deal cause they have good workflow.
