Then perhaps if you are at the interview stage you can share about any IP courses you have taken or whether you have IP experience during your internship/traineeship. As long as you can substantiate something should be fine.

If I am not wrong there have been quite a few lateral transfers across the departments

Please let us know if your grouse is with 'coffin money'. I'm sure we can help you through hard times through donations, there are platforms such as GoFundMe.

If you're this entitled without having earned anything in the working world then that's just the wrong mentality.
Anyway, this sort of elitist mentality will probably not serve you well. Many of these "degree mill" graduates have gotten jobs and are doing well at work, and where are you? If you are as good as them or better, it will eventually show. Until then, put up or shut up.

It’s an NQ position and suitable for many of you here.
Let’s see who gets the role and we will immediately know the answer. We all know the empty vessel shouts the loudest and the real winners are the ones who work quietly.

Not the OP. But to all of you dissing each other, may I direct your undivided attention to this post please?

I’m looking to apply for the role and have been reading up about the team. I did a few IP related matters when I was a trainee.
Side note: he has a slight resemblance of Ivan Lim just based on physical appearances.

Good luck! As bad as an experience I had with him, I chalked it up to me not being compatible with his work style

Are they also looking for traineeships or SA positions?

can you elaborate on what you mean by "on the outs" and "definite that the firm won't be around for long"?
