Any HarryE insiders can tell us what's the sentiment so far? Is it a dark day? Are people sad over the de-merger or more or less life as usual? Any perceived drop in prestige?

Understand that ppl may not be privy or cannot share the reasons for the split but if you can share the on-the-ground sentiments that'll be great.

This is of some interest to me for reasons i won't specifically state .
Sorry you either join the NUS-UCL/KCL flame wars or you get out.

To continue, KCL and UCL are degree mills.

You're just unhappy they took your jobs.. come on, it's a free market. And the market so far has not reflected any of the hate you have levelled on my school. UCL has not even been delisted.

Is it just the same idiot posting these moronic comments again and again?

To the person (who I know will read this cause you're clearly checking this page every 5 minutes): Get a life. Seriously. You're a loser.

Interested in your interest. Care to share?

From a 3P pov, donít think there was any prestige increase in the tie up initially anyway.

How is this getting "back on track" when you had to "hijack" the original discussion to ask a question that doesn't change anything? In any case, one would be rather naive to expect legit replies.

Yup basically this. HE was on the outs even prior to the merger -> tried to save their skin by tying up with an international -> now it's pretty much definite that the firm won't be around for long.
