For MC- Join big 4/slb and do time there + take NY bar (ideally) or alternatively UK bar. You can then stroll into MC interview pretty easily. White shoe is diff ballgame. May need MBFC Tower 1 or MCpedigree.

If after a few tries it doesn’t work - join A&G first (unless you are already there).

Lets say from A&G's associate firm in MY (RL&P)
Or is practice in SG on another level compared to MY?

if at associate firm, then come over to the big 4 equivalent in Sing, do time (1-2 years) and uk bar to stand a chance for SC/MC. question to always ask is how do you stand out from the Big 4 crowd to gain that 1 x coveted spot. no shortcut to success unless extremely well-connected or lucky
As for WS, you generally need MBFC Tower 1 or SC/MC pedigree, unless extremely well-connected or lucky

I wanna go to international from B4 as a NQ/1PQE. Where's good for disputes and has a track record of hiring straight from B4?

Is the New York bar useful for the purposes of transitioning to a UK firm?
