Are the statistics pulled out of their asses? Just where did they get the information that 80% of graduates are culled before associateship? (And this is just the most egregious example, the rest of the statistics are pretty questionable as well.)
The statistics create an illusion of legitimacy, but it is pretty clear that this scheme was designed to prey on desperate and/or clueless graduates.

Does anyone know whether the AGC is still on a hiring freeze? What are their recent intake numbers per year, if you are aware?
Also could anyone advise on the ballpark starting salary for DPPs?

See his point above the one which you have extracted, and i think he is suggesting that typically Asians (but not him and some which he identifies) are usually too busy doing work to focus on building a book
