I agree with OP in a few posts earlier that local uni law girls are the worse to date
Dated one before (they have no qualms about entering relationships easily but leave fleetingly.
They have no qualms about dating other guys immediately after breakup. Including your enemies and they are damn public about it.
They are insensitive and do not care about others.
Whatever you tell them in the relationship, they will use it against you.

I second that. The second paragraph applies to women in general and is not limited to law girls.

I always believe in karma. But it seems that the girl is still doing very well. So where’s the retribution?

Whatever is the case, 550 or 660, that's far too many new entrants every year for our under-developed legal market to absorb.
A major market like Hong Kong has about just under 1,200 solicitor trainees at any one time (hk-lawyer.org/content/monthly-statistics-profession-april-2018). Their financial services sector is at least 2 x bigger than Singapore.
That's not even taking into account HK trainees have a 2 year gestation period. On the other hand, we're churning out 500 to 600 new lawyers every year during mass call, not even accounting for the non-mass call ones every few months.
Really unsustainable. I'd highly encourage law grads, especially overseas unis, to aim higher and try to obtain legal roles in the UK or Australia. For your own career development and for the good of the profession here.

There were (in part b) 670+ in 2015, 660+ in 2016,
And 560+ in 2017. It’s a fact that there was a huge decrease in 2017 simply cos a lot of ppl failed part A and had to wait for one additional cycle.
These are all verifiable sources. You can always check with SILE

Then you'd need to re-evaluate your beliefs buddy.

I think retribution comes in many forms and at different instances in a person’s life.
There are many things such as unexplained death of a child at a later stage, a divorce after many years, health problems, difficulty with pregnancy, loss of job eventually, professional negligence.
Have faith buddy, what goes around comes around.

And what kind of karma do you get in return for wishing ill on someone else?
