A meaningful difference between a "law graduate" and "lawyer" surely can't hinge on the completion of a few Part B subjects.
The better solution imo to diversify career options for law grads should be to allow law grads to satisfy the practice training requirement via inhouse seats. This is what they do in the UK. Not confer empty titles like NPL which the hiring market can see through in a second.

Must be working under an average EP la. You want big bucks as a JP you need to go international firm or go find DS at guoco.
Personally I'd rather give up the promotion and try jump to international firm an SA. I have seen a fair few downgrade from partner to SA.

ya. for 3 months to fulfil the secondary seat of the solicitors' seat component.
clearly not what the original comment is talking about w.r.t. England & Wales ya? Which is to allow trainees to undertake their entire 2 year TC in an inhouse department and qualify therefrom.

Lol bro, sweet summer child. $ is low because market is Singapore market is small and because big4 pay structure is top-heavy as ****. JPs as still very low in the ranks, still suckling at the teat of the equity partner just for a taste of his / her book.
The fact that you're asking this question means that you have much to learn...

They are the top team for shipping in SG. O&B has more or less caught up though.
Bosses are extremely harsh and unreasonbale. Very tough environment. Attrition extremely high. That's why they are ALWAYS HIRING. My close friend worked there. Wouldn't recommend at all.
