what rubbish are you spouting. It’s well known many CMI poly kids go to Durham. And they are working in small firms in Singapore now

A first from KCL>2:1/2:2 from NUS that’s the advantage of studying in the uk

and it’s easy to get into top LLM from there

let's hope the rest of the market follows.
I suspect they pegged it to what they were already paying under the 6-month TC actually.

Eg. 2.5k (R&T trainee pay) x 6 months + 3.2k (legal exec pay before mass call) x 2 months + 7.5k (NQ pay) x 4 months = 51.4k. Minus abit for call break.

Actually, some of the best practitioners come from Australia

Just look at people like Beelee Seah- come from Murdoch, but is undeniably successful.

Many others as well from what you would term second and third tier UK universities

I would go so far as to argue that the people who suffer the most are the bottom half/quarter of the Singapore uni population

Aussie unis are really bad-they accept poly grads and CMi A level grads with bad grades. We are talking about low scores of 3.2 GPA (poly) and BCC (A levels)

Probably only UniMelb and ANU have quality control- they accept more straight A students
