With the exception of Dentons, pretty sure the Singapore side works pretty much on the same files as those on the International side (for transactions anyway)
e.g. I wouldn't think that anyone doing Projects work in Prolegis wouldn't be working hand-in-hand with the HSF projects team. Similarly for PKWN and Mayer Brown's corporate team. Not too sure about Wong & Leow and Bakers though, as I understand Wong & Leow handles litigation exclusively.

POFMA-worthy.
What grudges do you bear against unknowing law grads? I hope the meat grinder firms at least paid you to help them mislead law grads

Not OP. Just wanted to say from my pov that the big 4 are the biggest meat grinders lolll, churning so many people in and out that rumour has it there is are lists of at 10-20 names per office room (holding 2 pax) to commemorate those who joined and left

how many big four ppl would kill to be there?
Also, pretty sure firms would be more willing to hire someone from HSF vs say someone from WongP.
They work regularly with int'l lawyers and teams on int'l deals, as compared to sg lawyers who work opposite such int'l lawyers.
Separately, a HSF lawyer will definitely stand out against a minimum of all of the jepalang big four/other sg firms fighting for the same place. It's hard even for those guys to stand out against their peers lol.

I’m not sure what area of transactional work you are in, with Singapore lawyers working 'opposite' such international lawyers. A simple Linkedin search reveals that the majority of corporate laterals in the mentioned firms come from A&G and WongP.

I would imagine old school SME type firm culture (but highly team dependent) and uncompetitive salary scales relative to Big 4 and other "high end" mid tiers

anyone knows what's the actual nature/relationship between Lee & Lee and Hogan Lovells? Do they just refer work to each other, or do they work as an integrated team?
