Is Law worth it
Have been Law at NUS and double degree in computer science/business at NTU.
Is it worth studying Law over Computer Science/Business, considering the extended TC period where you are paid peanuts?

it's just 6 months
in the grand scheme, the 6 months opportunity loss will be "peanuts" against your future potential earnings

Pls...many of our judges of the Supreme Court and local Big 4 law firm partners are from NUS/ SMU. No need to go to Oxbridge, unless you want to join PAP.

What do you mean by "worth"?
If you like law do law. (the extended TC is a trivial issue)
If you like tech and coding do cs. (the biz part of it is a sideshow)
It fundamentally comes down to what you're inclined to do. Both are very different fields. You can thrive and set yourself up for upper middle class success in either field if you're good. Conversely, you can also languish in mediocrity in either if you're average.

Setia just announced new pay structure! For the 1 year PTC, they will pay trainee salary for 6 months, then NQ salary after the 6-month mark.
(Hats off to them, will be v positively looked upon by TC applicants)
Will more firms in SG follow??
