Isn't HSF strong in that? Why not hire there directly, and why through Prolegis?

Probably because they want to do the SG law work. Heard there's no difference in Prolegis and HSF pay.

I heard it’s not very much (i.e., not worth the lack of sleep, obesity, eye circles, fugliness and health problems that come with chionging), but wanted to verify. Thank you!

Hearsay between high 200k to low 300k for B4 junior partners (all in).

Law School
I have been offered a spot in cambridge law. But I'm unsure whether it is worth 400k, especially since I have also been offered NUS and SMU (which costs 60k at most). Any advice would be appreciated.

It boils down to affordability. When your family can spend 400k without much consideration go Cambridge. Otherwise stay put.

Similar question has been answered before on this thread.
Other than affordability, also consider what are your intended career options after graduation. If government legal service is a prospect, Oxbridge might look good on the resume. Same if you hope to get a foot into international firms.
Of course, if you graduate with FCH or summa cum laude from local uni, you will also be sought after, plus build your local network.
