Anyone explored working overseas as in-house (without internal arrangements)? Wondering about the feasibility as someone in 4-7 PQE range with 1 year plus fintech in house experience

Agree. CC lost SC (Harpreet Singh) and the OG JLCs (e.g. Keith Han, Jerald Foo, etc.) who realised they have no hope of making partners. Nowdays, only the less competent/unwise JLCs will join.
Baker is known as "McDonalds" of law firms cos they operate globally like a franchise, and is very cheap and local.

That is right (but not very high for offshore law firm):
Practice Trainee Honorarium (Seat 1 & 2): S$115,000 p.a.
Post Qualification Training Programme (Seat 3 & 4): S$133,000 p.a.

Typical noob displaying utter ignorance. Likely from third rate firm like Dentons which is the true franchise. Baker is regionally integrated, across the Americas, Asia and EMEA regions. They also got LKY scholar valecdictorian.

Back in the old days it was a rite of passage.
In recent times, they have begun failing people for 1-2 exams, but essentially pass everyone for the retakes.
Now I'm not sure, since SG said they want to make it harder. I will assume it is now as difficult as scoring around B+ for your usual school tests.

Hearsay Sidley SG pays 120-130k for trainees, LW sg is 150-160k. Anyone can verify salary for US white shoe trainees in sg?

It's been about 1 year since our previous Law Soc President Adrian Tan passed away. It is really quite regrettable - think he really meant well and would have really spurred on change for young lawyers. He shone an ugly spotlight on the attrition rate when he didn't have to.
Respect to the GOAT. May those in this industry continue his legacy.
