Yup, got an offer from a V5 US firm not too long ago with a NUS LLB and only SG called.

Last time it was easy. Whole of Clifford chance Singapore filled with NUS graduates. Even one or two second lowers.
Now times are hard for us. Even being a slave in a conveyor belt like Wong P is not easy.

Do you have a good reason as to why your results are so poor?
National sports, running a business, any good reason at all?

Not sure if this is considered a good reason but my parents are retired so I didn't want to financially burden them and so I worked part-time to sustain myself financially throughout 4 years of law school, working around 5 hours every day which took a toll on my mental health as well. Not working wasn't really an option for me so idk if this is a good enough reason to justify my poor results ..

If you are religious, then pray to your god(s).
If you are not, time to consider joining one.

If you were a Big 4 partner would you accept these reasons lmao
Already didn't do well and now got mental health problems on top of parents retired, don't know got what other issues at home sure ask for urgent leave or day off or w/e
Think a bit harder before asking if still got chance with crap grades cos you like money and face, if have to hire crap grades for "compassionate reasons" they would have 1,000+ new associates
The only way you are justifying this if you took time off to be SEA games gold medallist or found a cure for cancer or w/e
