I think no harm in following up with R&T From what I know A&G is not exactly mass hiring right now because of the market, or at least that's what my friends in the firm told me. If you interviewed at R&T it's always good to just follow up so you know for sure. I assume it's for a lateral role? Because for TC they usually get back very quickly.

Have friends at SLB, they generally seem to be happy with their firm. TKQP's liti side sucks not sure about corp. TSMP you need to deal with the MPs and their baggage.

what about dentons corp?

also how are the corp teams at various int'l firms- do all get involved in m&a? heard many of them just do corp advisory/non-m&a work

How much of a corp practice does TKQP have? I see 2 corp consultants but no partners. The transactional partners are real estate only. None of their assocs are corp assocs.
