lateral cv vs undergrad cv
hey learned colleagues, I'm 2pqe looking to move firms- looking for some advice
in your cv, does legal work exp now go above education? do you still keep your non-legal/volunteer work experience and extracurriculars?
for my most recent grad role, I've worked across at least 10-20 matters. Would you keep it general to what type of work - basically buzz words, or do you choose like your top 4-7?

Anyone ex-JLCs or current JLCs can share their interview experience? How difficult are the interviews and what must one do to amaze the interview panel?

For my CV, education came first. But it was a short section.
For your relevant experience, probably cherry pick the top / most difficult matters that you have worked on. The very best should be at the top of the list. Include a short description of each matter and highlight key points (e.g. matter value, forum, etc.).
Ultimately the goal of your CV is to summarise your competencies, but also not be too detailed - you want to pique the interviewer’s interest and get him/her/them to ask you to elaborate on your CV during the interview.

when do people stop attaching their transcripts to their applications? does B4 still look at transcripts for candidates who are 1-2 PQE in? or is class of honours sufficient

as long as the legal industry remains saturated. once there is a shortage of lawyers like software engineers(which would never happen), then firms will stop asking for transcripts
