TSMP is paying 3.5k , an honorarium which is believed to be market-leading in Singapore. Can take leave also. really good welfare.

Just be careful of these "international" JLVs/FLAs like Pinsent Masons, Mayer Brown, Clyde & Co. Most of these are just bait-and-switch outfits.
They will offer you TCs in their local side and give you pay packages that are just on par with Big 4 pay (or it could be lower), but their billable targets will be higher than Big 4. The worst is when these tie-ups fall apart, then you'll end up in the sinking local firm unless you managed to claw your way into the international side.

Will law firms keep tc spots for their trainees if they decide to accept a JLC offer?

HSF offers a direct E&W TC in the Sg office since last year. I'd imagine the pay is higher than Baker but lower than CC. Pretty sure the FLA side (Prolegis) no longer offers Sg bar PTCs - but anyone feel free to correct me.

Drawback to this is you need to do the 1 year GDL/prep for SQE course and then the actual 1 year of the SQE, plus an extra 2 years to qualify as a UK NQ - so total 4 years
Within the same time, Singaporean lawyers can reach 2-3 PQE (SG scale) which is higher than NQ (UK scale) without needing to do law school all over again

Even funnier if there's no FCH/Summa. copium's dosage was lethal
