Just checked Simmons & Simmons:
PTC (First 6 months): $2,100
PTC (Second 6 months): $8,000 - not sure about NQ after getting sg-qualified
Not sure about Mayer Brown. Anyone knows?

In other news, need a JLC or some sexy lawyer woman with hairy pussy to give me a golden shower, preferably a strong urgent stream, thanks.

where is TSMP's industry-leading NQ pay? Probably the only mid tier firm that pays higher than b4.

If I recall correctly 1 or 2 years ago, one of their high profile partners proclaimed on social media to be paying top line starting salaries amongst local firms. With all the usual pitch about valuing people and paying them well. This was before the late 2021 Big 4 pay bump mind you. What wasn't mentioned, was that this top line figure was more or less unchanged since the 2013-2014. In the interim, they had also frozen or cut pay when the legal market wasn't doing well around 2016. Lawyers long enough in the industry would remember.
Don't get me wrong, I'm sure they have many good lawyers and do good work. They just have a penchant for tooting their own horn sometimes.
And I'm fairly sure that they aren't paying more than the Big 4 now. Even if they are, its probably only at the NQ or 1PQE stage. The increments for Big 4 associates outpaces the increments for their associates.

Hi learned friends and colleagues, I am a postgrad law student and am considering applying here for a TC if I am unsuccessful with the bigger outfits.
How would the firm fare when compared to the B4 and other full service firms such as Baker, Dentons, DMS, Khattarwong and SLB? A school senior told us that the firm is one of the best in Singapore when it comes to corp and transactional work, making them a strong recruitment ground outside of the B4 for the international firms. Good WLB as well. Classmates who recently interned there also had good things to say about the firm, culture and colleagues.
