I'm currently holding a training with a big 4 holding a fch. I want to get higher paying jobs after my tc ends in december. Would it be better to email the people at baker to ask for openings? since the pay is so much higher?

You totally should. Most in baker are not fch. Quality and attitude worse than big 4 but paid much more. Some are not even proper called lawyers or from delisted universities yet paid much more than fch. U are not playing the system dude.

This is a horribly naive point of view. White Shoe firms are a lot of branding - the work isn’t necessarily better than MCs. It may make more financial sense to join a White Shoe firm, but it may not be good for career growth. White Shoe firms (especially those which are expanding in Singapore) treat their associates as document monkeys - other firms can offer so much more than that.

Aiyo, why people care so much about fch…? In any event, not say that the White Shoes or MCs in Singapore only hire fch. In the end fch is just something on a piece of paper, I’ve seen a lot of fch people who kum gong.

Lol mate you didn’t even read properly. OP’s point is that baker people are incompetent, and so someone with fch shouldn’t even consider baker because it’s beneath someone who has fch. Assuming that fch is an actual stamp of quality.
