People on this forum have attended the interview, and the feedback is atrocious. The vibes from the interviewer are unprofessional and toxic. Advertised pay is terrible too, apparently.

I interviewed with this company many years ago, when I was not called yet (for context now I am a senior associate). Easily the worst interview experience I ever had, boss is arrogant and rude, whole team seemed toxic. Role is never filled. Avoid like the plague, guarantee you will regret going for the interview.

Also, exit opportunities?

Don’t bother. It’s a toxic culture inside and few (if any) make it to international law firms. A&G TMT is a better bet if you want to make decent jumps to international law firms / big tech.

IBs in singapore start at 8k.

Go figure

IB analysts in Singapore start at S$13k base out of undergrad. 2-3 years out of undergrad, IB associates make >S$20k a month.

IB average bonus is 8 months and can be up to 12 months. All-in for a first year IB analyst and first year IB associate is around S$200-300k and S$400-500k respectively.

Any way for us to belatedly apply to JLC? Based on stellar work in big4.

I really still want to have the JLC label. Very awesome

Nope. Maybe unless you go take LLM somewhere immediately and reapply on that.

Who on Earth is that? Both of our valedictorians have been selected for JLC. SMU class of 2022 grad here.

Can confirm that the earlier posts are true (valedictorians chose not to be JLCs).
