Suggestions:
Small Law Firms (but you have to do liti, might be a pain in the arse if you were doing corp)
CLAS/LAB (but prepare to take a significant pay cut compared to your high-paying job now)
Side-note about working out, many lawyers look like they are 20 years older than their actual age

If you cmi to NUS or SMU but really want to be a lawyer, the honourable route is to use daddy's money to study in an overseas scheduled uni. Not exploit a backdoor route meant for a specific policy purpose.

FYI - NUS GLB is many notches above SMU JD
NUS is hyper competitive with LLBs for the same bell curve, vs SMU with its own set of JD class bellcurve

You are aware that NUS JD now follows SMU and curve within their cohort right

Those who cmi to NUS will then choose SMU.

Move as early as you can. The funds work in local firms is not comparable to intl firm funds work so you may as well move early.

What about offshore firms? Meaning Walkers, Ogier, Bedell Christin etc. I heard its better life than the full service international firms. Are these gigs good opportunities for a funds lawyer?

Urgent advice needed. I am an associate specialising in restructuring, and have a couple of offers I am considering. Anyone got anonymous feedback on the ex CC guy at Oon Bazul, and the ex HSF counsel at Baker & McKenzie?
Any insight at all very appreciated.
