Small/medium firms
Wow just saw Y S Chung offer on their website $2500 for tc honorarium and $7200 for starting associate pay. Are the small and medium firms really desperate for candidates? Acute lawyer shortage really that bad?

These are "big and renowned firms" and "foreign offshore firms"?. Man I was expecting Big 4 and/or true internationals.

Are you asked to work?
Some are made to work full time through the bar courses and those obviously should be paid.
Some don't have to work at all. You wouldn't have strong bargaining power to be paid if that was the case.
In my case about 7 years ago, I had a good deal. I was paid to sit at the receptionist desk during office hours (as long as i wasnt attending any course) as there was no receptionist during that period. Didn't have to do any legal work for the firm, just be a jaga and attend to walk-ins/couriers and spend my time studying.

Vigilanteh is basically saying the cheaters represent what lawyers truly are and so he's helping them find jobs.
"The lawyers who cheated in the ethics exams shouldn’t be penalised. In fact, they should be admitted to the bar immediately.
...
We have already rounded up the names of the 11 aspiring lawyers to help them get jobs in various law firms. I think they are the embodiment of what being a lawyer is all about.
May they have success!"
honestly i had no position on the matter until this perverse act of trolling. like how joaquin phoenix was lauded as some sort of hero in the Joker movie.
