Nobody outside of Singapore bubble gives a **** about FCH, Harvard LLM, and they haven’t heard of JLC or PSC scholarship lah.
Stop selling yourself short and just go for what you want.

Hi dear forumers. I recently attained a FCH at oxford/cambridge (lest i be identified). Just did my Part A of the bar.
Can people please advise on whether i should go through with the JLC, or take up a training contract at a top int’ll firm (cravath rates after UK qualification)?
Would like to hear how the career prospects stack

I’m interested in this too. Thanks.
Would also like to know what the billable hour requirements are at the Big 4 firms.

You’re right. The Sg intake at cantab is so small that if you say you’re from cantab, it’s not difficult to figure out who you’re.
It’s your choice. The JLC stint is for 2 years, gives you a branding on top of Oxbridge.
But if you are after money, then it’s a no brainer you should take up a TC at a magic circle or white shoe in London.
It’s a tough decision to make, either way with a first from Oxbridge you’re set for life.
