There’s two categories of Oxbridge.
There is the group that did undergrad law in Oxbridge. They have a special group and they are generally quite close and well connected.

There is another group, the FCH in NUS who go on to do BCL or LLM at Oxbridge for the sole purpose of becoming an academic (Asst prof from Sheridan fellowship) or just the prestige required for top litigation sets. Most barristers in tier 1 chambers have the BCL/LLM from Oxbridge.

The second group would not be as connected as the first group, but they do have the connections from their BCL/LLM

I spent more money legitimising my undergraduate degree, FCH from delisted, by going to Oxbridge.

Would you guys be keen on an open Discord for the topics below?

Serious and career related discussions only, assistance for interview preparations, no trolling

Discord would be better IMO chances are the relevant decision makers wouldn’t know how to use it so it’ll be a moderately good form of filtering haha

But telegram isn't anonymous. I'm thinking of a good platform that will be anonymised but also moderated and facilitated. People should be free to choose to disclose their identities in the name of mentoring others if needed.

Anyone in legal tech want to consider this? It's a good idea but should be run as a not-for-profit gig. The innovation will be for the common good of the legal profession and improving mentorship opportunities, particularly for law students, trainees and juniors.

Forgot to add the caveat that it should be free and on a goodwill basis

discord is better than telegram because telegram is less anonymous
