Would it be possible to apply for NY bar as a local NUS/ SMU graduate? I know the passing rates are near borderline impossible but I would like to know if anyone here went through the process of know of someone who went through it?

Yes. There is established precedent of NUS LLBs being allowed to take it.
Pass rate is low but only cause there are many terrible law schools in the US. Everyone I know that took it (which is 10+) passed on first try.

I don't know anyone in Singapore who trained locally who is paid full Cravath scale. They always dock your PQE.

Why do so many uk law grads post cringe humblebrag crap on LinkedIn? Like mate nobody cares about your "hard earned" 2.1 or 1st class. It's not even hard to get. U don't see NUS deans Listers or first class bragposting on LinkedIn. Overcompensating?

It's not easy sitting for the EU law exam after spending the night before getting smashed on SGD2.00 beer at the student union (and smashing some first class white pussy after). Whiskey dick? Not me m8, I put the "hard" in "hard earned" xx
And yeah, I don't see local peeps humblebragging about getting filmed in the shower...

Don't even understand why employers consider taking UK grads. Should just automatically accept all NUS grads. Finding TCs is already so hard for us due to these grads.

Okay one piece of advice for you.
If you can’t fight em, either date them so you become their husband/wife and live vicariously off their earnings, or think of some solutions.
