Baker best firm really.
But if you get in through merit alone, thumbs up.

Is doing PIMA/NIMA work considered worse than community law?

Some commenter before had a very good point.
What are you doing in your Singapore law firm that justifies you being paid $200k pa?

What is the usual time for a B4 move to intl firm such as Clifford Chance?
What is the salary for a SG 2PQE move into CC?

Agreed try to link the rest to the post number.
I honestly think $3-4k is a fair salary for a NQ Sg lawyer

uhh obviously no one is advocating for NQs to be paid 200K USD p.a. in SG, but there has barely been any increase in B4 salaries
even a $500 increase to keep up with the times would be much appreciated...

In fact I feel legal salaries in Sg should be reduced. To remain competitive

Say you pay someone $3.5k a month, I think it’s sufficient and besides the associate will always have his/her job.
When you pay a high base, the associate become at risk of getting retrenched etc.
mantra is very simple, earn less. Spend less.
Live simply.
That’s how you survive in the next 30 years of a gig economy
